La Aguja Marina es uno de los lugares turísticos de Fondo de Bikini situado en el centro frente al Ventilador Gigante. Sólo aparece en el episodio Pre-Hibernation Week y en el videojuego La batalla de Fondo de Bikini. Cuando Arenita Mejillas trataba de divertirse en su ultima semana antes de la hibernacion y una de sus ideas es golpease con Bob Esponja con hisopos gigantes hasta que uno de los dos se caiga y en el videojuego tienes que pagarle a una Almeja 2,400 por pasar.
Diseño
La aguja del mar es muy alto, y es muy fuerte en la parte superior. En comparación con otros edificios que parecen pequeñas, mientras que mirando hacia abajo, la aguja del mar es capaz de ser el edificio más alto de Bikini Bottom. Hay un pequeño signo que apunta a la misma. En medio de ella es un anillo de color amarillo y que está de pie sobre una plataforma de metal. La aguja del mar es, posiblemente, se supone que se asemejan a la Aguja Espacial de Seattle. Al principio no sabes donde Arenita y Bob Esponja son, pero luego la televisión se aleja, y usted los ve en la parte superior de una aguja gigante. Esto parece imposible desde nuestra prespectiva, pero de cerca, la parte superior debe estar a pocos metros de ancho por lo menos.
Curiosidades
- La aguja marina es una obia referencia ala Space Needle de Washington en EE.UU.
- En el episodio ala aguja le hace falta la pequeña arista de arriba como la Space Needle pero en el videojuego si la tiene.
- Cuando Bob y Arenita se golpean con hisopos, es una parodia al programa americano «Gladiadores Americanos».
