20,000 Patties Under the Sea (Veinte mil hamburguesas bajo el mar en España y Veinte mil hamburguesas submarinas en Hispanoamérica) es un episodio de la quinta temporada.
Argumento
Cuando Bob Esponja y Patricio capturan medusas en los Jellyfish Fields, tropezaron con un visor de un submarino enterrado y al desenterrarlo se enteraron de lo que era y su propósito. Cambiando de escena hacia el Crustáceo Crujiente donde Don Cangrejo se ve muy nervioso por que últimamente no había habido clientes, de la nada (o en realidad de Calamardo) se le ocurre llevar el Crustáceo Crujiente hacia los clientes, envés de que ellos vinieran hacia el restaurante y ahora que Bob Esponja y Patricio aparecen con el nuevo submarino destruyendo la entrada principal del Crustáceo Crujiente.
Después de que Don Cangrejo puso a trabajar a los dos, no les va muy bien con las ventas. Plankton observando que Don Cangrejo le robo su idea de tener un mercado ambulante, usa el brazo gigante del Balde de Carnada como vehículo y trata de vender hamburguesas de carnada.
El submarino de Bob y Patricio se desvía hasta donde esta un abismo en el que habita un monstruo que tiene mucha hambre. Bob y Patricio logran vender las Cangre Burguers al monstruo, y luego aparece Plankton renegando con el monstruo de que no siga comprando Cangre Burguers. El monstruo confunde a Plankton por una galleta y trata de comérselo. De regreso al Crustáceo Crujiente, Don Cangrejo mando a componer la puerta de entrada que Bob y Patricio destruyeron en primer lugar y de repente ellos la vuelven a destruir de la manera ya antes mencionada. Bob Esponja trata de contarle a Don Cangrejo todo lo que vivió, pero Don Cangrejo aburrecido por esto quiso que le hablara del dinero, Bob Esponja le responde que cuando el y Patricio estaban en el abismo tuvieron que tirar todo el dinero que ganaron, pero como compensación recogieron 167 gramos de rocas preciosas.
Triviál y Errores
- El titulo del episodio hace alusión a la novela y pelicula 20.000 lenguas bajo el mar de Julio Verne.
- La escena principal donde muestran varias medusas en el Jellyfish Fields es el mismo que se vio y uso en el episodio Jellyfishing.
